Grey Knight Terminator Grand Master

Thought I would post a few of my minis. Doesn't show the depth of colour very well but you get the idea :) Hope you like him, he's my gaming piece so is showing gaming wear but I'm starting a new army and i'm not going to touch him up. Any tips/comments are much appreciated good or bad.

A standard Grey knight color scheme which you've displayed cleanly. I'm not entirely sure the shield on his left shoulder brings the whole model together, in fact I find it almost distracting, to tie it in more you might try changing the red to either a gold or a black/grey mix. Another possible suggestion... try using a watered down black and layer it from the bottom on the armored plates and alternate with brighter mithril/silver mixes up to the top with each piece until it reflects the contrast between your overhead lightsource. This should give off a more bright/shadowed effect for the mini and make him appear much more dramatic. His sword seems rather plain as though you were rushed, or just wanted to get him finished, lightsourcing off the swords blade or hilt would give a very nice effect to the mini. cheers. Hope these ideas might help. Still I rate you a good 6.
