Really nice work so far, not sure what the thing hanging off his assault cannon is though.
But one big thing to remember with dreadnoughts, and its a rule I try to stick to, rather than my cleaned marines, is where a marine will polish his armour when hes not using it, a dreadnought cant, and probably doesnt, so paint gets chipped, and flaked in combat, and maybe rust stains running from things like bolts etc, and the big bits of metal on the back.
Im spending my time currently painting rust on the back of mine, using old very dry looking acrylics I found in a cupboard.
