I'm not quite sure if the crystal really adds anything to the sculpt -- I'm not a big fan for bases that are nearly as tall as the figure when it doesn't really tell a story. I think the reason the crystal ended up looking like ice is because it doesn't have smooth facets. The polished blades work well. I think my favorite part is the skin coloration, especially the hands.
