You are right. He is an old dwarf and fight in many battels. If i see the picture now, i think the strands must be smaller.

the beard isn't highlighted in white, but they are grey strands of hair, i recon the guy is getting on a bit in age now, am i right?

a good job for a first NMM but my only critiscism is about the bear, why make white higtlight on a red base!!! this work had to be at the same paint level thant the axe.... but a good job on this dwarf :-D
