i have two words for you....
YOUR PAINT IS TOO THICK! Try to thin your paint down. I know its a pain in the arse, but it will be so much better for your models man.....
like one water to two drops of paint for base color and then the invers two drops of water to one drop of paint for blending.....just calm down and be patient......
i have the same problem.......good flames though
oh, and beware drybrushing....it always makes everything just look dusty
