Tau Hammerhead, Jade Jaegers

Ok well I had a bunch of pictures taken of my Hammerhead from various angles. Yes I do realize the transfers show up on the vehicle, so please bear in mind the redone vehicle has no clear opaque transfer background showing up on it. I don't have access to a camera to take new shots so I'm letting you know in this comment :). Basically I made the mistake of applying the gloss varnish after I set the transfer instead of the reverse (Gloss coat then transfers). So here she is my Railgun Hammerhead in all her glory.

The coloration was intentional as was the glossiness. This cadre's scheme an origin is a wet jungle world. The glossy coating was to blend in with the wet vegetation. Thanks for killing what others consider a solid piece. This cadre took 3rd in a local GT for paint/style and composition as well made it onto the GW site. But cheers nonetheless, perhaps the high gloss shot may have been due to the inexperience of the camera user.

8.1??? i can't believe how much it's overrated... the colour is too thick and bad highlighted plus it's glossy.

Dagath.. I'm glad my paintjob is inspiring you to taking your force to a new painting level. yes many paint schemes I've seen are rather melted in appearance, although I"ve seen my fair share of clean smooth Tau paintjobs.
