Hehe, if cheesewiz thinks THIS is the ugliest mini on the planet, he needs to shop around more. Heck, *most* of Shadowforge's minis are worse than this and they supposedly specialize in females.
This brings up a question that everyone on this site should ponder: How do you score a miniature that is sculpted poorly, but painted well? It is all about YOUR talent as a painter, right? You can't do anything to help the sculpt, but a really well painted mini can give the illusion that it's better than it truly is. On the other hand, most people who post here obsess over the slightest detail, like the shape of the base and how many rocks are on it. So they would probably tell you that it's your fault for not picking a better miniature to work with. Personally, I'd say the skin is a little yellow & flat, and this mini was too ugly to be worth your time. Check out some super detailed miniatures from Reaper's Werner Klocke, or any by Rackham, so you can really challenge yourself. Peace.
