An example of one of my wargaming minis from about ten years ago or so. "Looks like ass" doesn't even begin to cover it. It makes me feel better about my current level of skill. It was painted pink and pastels because my wife insisted that the bugs were "cute".

I have seen far worse than this with higher marks... I think a 3.4 is totally unacceptable... The colours (whilst garish sure) are done cleanly with at least an attempt at shadingm it's based (again, not perfectly, but we are hardly giving out Golden Daemon marks here) I give it a 6 as it's above what a fair few people I have seen in store use in games.

I think the threes are a bit harsh, cleanly painted, between the lines, with some shading and its based! That is not a 3. The colours may not to be to everyones taste, but if your wife thinks they are cute, you went for the easy life :D Shaz
