I must confess I painted this at its time of release, around 1986 I would guess. My blending is smoother now, though I don't know whether I would do iris/pupil details like that anymore. Also I guess glazed armour, which has the thing then, is clearly no longer 'in'.

Not up to your usual standards,though i agree-the shield is good,seeing a mini this old makes you realise how far GW sculpt quality has progressed....not!!!!
