Purple is tricky. Some additional blending tones would help to smooth the transitions into the highlights. The base looks a bit barren (compared to your other base work, I'm nitpicking:)). I agree with the other comments, very striking expression! You managed the face really well and the metalic work is also very good, subtle. A very nice figure overall!

Thank you for your comments. I guess one mistake i made was in having the paint too thick in the crucible cube he's holding -- the yellows have such poor coverage and that i just kept slapping on the layers!
