Zoanthrope

I finally got around to painting this guy after having him sit on my shelf for about 2 years. Anyway, I tried a new technique on him, and I'm pretty happy with the results. I'll probably put up an article on the technique (I like to call it "tweening") soon. He's also got a bit of drool coming down off the jaw (made with silicone aquarium sealant), but it's not very visible in this pic. Eventually, I'll get a better camera....

SO this is where all the 'tweening' talk comes from....Cool colors, I love the drool!

i think the base is great. As for the drool and a new camera, how about a darker background. The white paper or whatnot you have the model on in the picture blends in with the bright model itself. I think If you took a picture of this model on a blue background it would look much better.
