This is a great example of skill, how a great paint job can save a rotten mini. This mini has nearly nothing going for it when raw. its plastic, usually poorly molded, modeled 'flat' or all in one plane, and it's made by GW. All bad starts.
But Golgfag has really shown how skill can make this a very fine figure! Nice blending, good freehand work, super choice of colors and look at that face!!!
If I have to be critical about anything, I'd suggest practicing some advanced techniques to use on the ball. How about faux crystal or even better, an 'earth and sky' treatment. Even still, this is a great job.
