Really like the colours and the blendings but my feeling is that if you'd make the base, uh, grander, the whole miniature would profit by it.

Great job! I really love the work on the reds and light brown... I'm not so sure of the reflection on the blade though, looks a bit strange to me. Top job nonetheless. :)
