I don't know "Mr. Smiley" seems so formal....lol This is really excellent. I think the photo has washed out some of your highlights, but I love the green striping along the body. The tentacle with the eyes(?) looks great, as does the teeth and gums area. Very creepy.
There just aren't enough Otyughs, Hook Horrors and other classic beasties out there. Everybody wants to paint scantily clad ladies and armored space dudes. I wonder if anybody has made an intellect devourer miniature...
