hummm I am the one that made the base on this miniature, so i know JJ's painting skills and i can asure you that there is no dry brush at all on is Bourreau except on the wood on my base. rating a 6 on a mini like this is suppose to be just a little more then table top quality, i start to beleive people in here don't know how to judge miniatures at all! Anyway, it is all good, but i wanted to clarify the dry brush thing! Most people seem to judge on a WOW effect and not on the painting quality and technique... it is sad sometimes! Good work JJ
I'm sorry to say, but I think this picture is way overrated. The gold looks nice, and so does the base, but the robes are just drybrushed, and his skin looks like it's inside out.
