A Tyranid Warrior I painted after browsing the painting forums at www.portent.net. This increased my ability greatly. I reccomend visiting if you need to brush up on any skills.
I actually wanted a grey body. While hard to tell in the photo (this is my first 'decent' picture attempt) the body was primed with GW's white primer, then sprayed with their grey spray paint. Then very lightly, because I can't highlight decently yet, I went over the detail with a lighter grey.
I realize what it look like in the pic, but the grey really is a different grey than the bare plastic.
