Cockatrice Fountain

This is a repost with a much better picture. The drybrushing details are more apparent, plus the bird's nest is more visible. It's made of Hirst Arts blocks and a Heritage Dungeon Dwellers Cockatrice figure from 1979. Thanks for looking!

Man, the water nearly is perfect!! Please make a tutorial about hw You did it! The stones would have benefitted from a few more colurs here and there to break up uniformity.

Thanks! I did the water with about five layers of acrylic gel medium layered one at a time, allowing it to dry in between. With each layer I dipped into the surface with the blunt end of a paint brush to give it the wavy effect. After I was satisfied with the texture, I coated it with Future Acrylic floor goop to make it shiny. The water out of the dragon's mouth is a piece of clothing price tag plastic with a couple of coats of acrylic gel medium on it with a coat of Future. This is a technique I learned from HirstArts.com. Thanks for the feedback!
