First experiment with fire. Base looks a bit uncreative - the mini is painted mainly for tabletop gaming purposes (Like all my other minis too) and thus the base is kept simple - Sorry for this. Comments welcome.

The fire if that was your focus on this piece deserves an 8. Great effect. The photo almost makes it look like you were painting with Object Light Sourcing as well, but I think it's just a trick of the light.

Your "first experiment with fire" looks great! Your idea of "gaming quality" appears to be much higher than what I've seen around on tables :-)

Very nice fire! The base is a little drab in comparison, and the armor's blending is a bit rough. Smooth out that blending and it's easy an 8. Add some reflected light from the fire, and you're well on your way to a great piece!
