I kind of wonder why the mini and the base are done with such different finish... The mini itself looks nice, but the base is rather messy... I may be an idiot for wanting nice bases, but to me it doesn't matter how good a model is if it isn't supported by a good base. I'm not that good myself, but I know what I like... ;-)
