This is the Grimgor Ironhide mini from GW, intended for use as my Warboss, Boartoof.. in my army. I bought him a long time ago, and while rummaging through my bitz box I found him again and decided to finish what was left of him and prime him with the batch I was preparing, the reason for why I stopped was because I was making some small changes to him when I got him, added a grip on the axe shaft, some extra metal plates on the axe head to represent teeth. Then, while I wasn't thinking at all I clipped the hilt of the sword on his back off.. damn. So when I found him again I used the hilt on the big sword in the WHFB Orc Boyz sprue and then primed the fella. Then after some 12 hours of painting he's complete. All comments and criticism highly appreciated ;)

out of all your mini's this would have to be my fav great job on this guy. what sold me is the worn metallic armour :)

I really like the dirty, gritty look of this mini, he definetly looks like hes been through the wars, it seems more fitting for an orc IMO. Welldone.

What a great mini. The metallics seem a bit rough, though fairly well blended. The highlight of this mini, in my opinion, is his skin. What a great skin tone. He looks just like me.
