Anghkor Prok, Kroot Shaper
What's that, another Anghkor Prok from Honza? Yes, I actually bought two minis on eBay and hoped that selling one painted back would cover the price of both. And that succeeded, I payed $36 for each of these two minis and sold painted one for $81. If you wonder, buying mini over eBay, even for those high prices, is much cheaper for me than to go to Games Day. The cheapest Games Day I could attend would be German one, but trip plus to stay there somewhere (possibly hotel) and all other expenses would come to about $300. And I would not understand a word, as I do not speak German. But to go to UK Games Day would be even more expensive. So once there's a generous sponsor that wants to send me to Games Day, I might go and participate in Golden Daemon painting competition, but until that day I would buy Games Day minis over eBay, as it is much much cheaper. All right, so I'm going to keep this second piece, not to sell it, possibly I will appear on some local painting competitions with it. I opted for grey skin this time, as some people pointed out my first piece looked to orky. Also the cloak is a bit darker and it looks more like hide this time. I'm much more satisfied with the NMM effect I achieved, especially on the handle of the sword. And I didn't include his name this time, as I found it pretty disrupting. Other than that as you can see there are not too many differences, I went for more contrast in some parts, some other tints of shades (e.g. the blades are done using Bubonic Brown this time, not Bleached Bone as last time), different Tau symbol on the base, but generously the mini is about the same as last time.
