Earth elemental familiar
Hey, stop looking at the marine! He's just to show scale. This is the last one of the Reaper familiar pack 1 I'm going to paint for the moment (pack II is calling). Those grey blobs on his face are actually teeth, and they are hiding his beady red eyes. Looking at him now I think he may have been better if I cut them off. I was trying to get a nice earthy drab look to him and I think I maybe did it a bit too well as he's kind of boring, really should have tried to get some brighter colours in there to break him up a bit. Based on a self sculpted resin cast base. NMM chain and edges to the book. Tried to have a go at doing an illuminated letter in the book, its damn small, but I think it looks ok. Hope you liek him.
