Eliza: Warrior Demoness

I'm working on improving with each mini. To help myself with this, I have decided to do some 'exercise minis' or 'drills'. So I have decided to do several minis, where I will focus on one aspect of painting. (Doesn't mean I'll forget about the aspects I'm not focusing on, just that only one thing is really important to me for each mini) On this mini, I was working on layering and getting smooth color transitions through many layers of thin paint. I'm rather pleased with the result- this mini was perfect for this exercise because it's sculpt is so clean and elegant. Unfortunately, the primer was a bit rough, so perfect blends weren't really possible, but I think this mini turned out really well. I was thinking about adding some freehand flames to the wings, but decided that it would detract from the simple elegance of the sculpt, but any comments are very welcome :)

Wow, Amy! You've gotten good in a very short amount of time! See how practice pays off? I may have to keep watching my back for new talent (more than usual) :P
