Dire Wolf

I decided to go for a somewhat more naturalistic look with this wolf . It was primered white and then very thin layers of paint were applied in first decreasing browns and then the dark black brown for the shadows and upper side of the pelt. Finally drybrushing was done to pick up the edge of the hairs. Of course the bared fangs meant that the lips had to also be picked up, oh and it is amazing what you can do with ahem, new glasses ;-)

I think you might need to FOCUS on the mouth area as the rest looks very realistic.
