A serious part of this whole painting thing is to get a little chunk of metal or plastic to give a good impression of 'something else'. This does not. It looks like a little painted blob of plastic, not a mighty war machine. Will it represent a mecha on the tabletop? Yes. Any more than that? No. Figure out a concept for the cockpit windshield, then go from there.
