Rare Heritage Great Dragon
This is an old Dragon from the early days of Lead casting. It weighs 6lbs! the wings are solid lead as is the tail and neck. Extensive pinning with brass wire was needed to get this figure to hold together. The dragon was only in production for a short time and I suspect that few of them were released. This one belongs to Scenario hobbies in Fremont Calif. where it is on display as the shop mascot. The shop owner Chuck was kind enough to let me assemble and paint it. I remember seeing one ad for it painted as a Green Dragon in an early 80's Dragon magazine. Original price was $25.00? Chuck wanted it Gold so that's what he got.
