It looks good at a 1st glance b/c of his cloak but you really need to work on your metal and like ive said on your other ones thin your paint you can really tell that the paint is gloopy around the skulls and on the gun

It not that hard to improve your metalics (i asume its only a flat layer of boltgun?), what you can to is put a layer (not too thick) of chainmail and then (when dryed) give it a wathered-down black inc. Or simply just drybrush mithril (wich might be faster made IMO). And about basing, i made all (well most) of my models in a easy and cheap way. First apply a not to thick layer of pva glue (or wood-glue, i think thats what mine called) then i get fine sand from a pet-store (less than a £ per liter) and i also bought some gravel, then i make a mix (in a plastic bag) of sand and gravel about 20/80 (if not more sand) and then take the model and stuff him down the bag so hes entire base is covered and shake it some. Then i drybrush the sand from dark angel green to mayby goblin or very fine drybrush of bleach bone and paint the gravel grey.

Yep I see what you mean about the metal work, and just about all my minis currently need basing, not very good at it still practicing, thanks for your comments Micha.
