I took this costume from the cover of "Champions" #1 (from 1975) that I happen to have in my painting room. As of late I've been getting more and more interested in repainting these Wizkids pieces and can't wait for the next round of releases. As I want these to be used in games I leave the base of the mini alone. I've sold a few Hero-Clix pieces at a local gamming store and have had a lot of fun with these guys. If this is some of your newer work then your painting is definitely improving....the skin colour is very nice and the detail work is great too. If I can be of any help I would say that to finish the eyes, once you have painted them in, go round them with the shading colour you use for the flesh and make them slightly thinner. This will eliminate the 'staring' look (although it is quite appropriate on this figure). Glad to hear you are enjoying your painting, it definitely looks like you are : ) Great Job!
