I must admit that I didn't like "smurfs" but once I saw GW concept sketches for new ultramarines, My attitude've changed and I decided to make this convertion. It was a small experiment to find out how good my sculpting in green stuff skills are. I liked rumours about assault shield so I decided to make him one. To make his pose even more heroic I made him standing on a tyranid warrior head. I took me some time but I'm quite happy with the final effect. I even start to think about collecting ultramarines (of course once I finish my 3 inquisitor ordos army ;). Anyway all comments are welcomed, especially from experienced green stuff users.

I'd like to see some more angles of this, especially the left knee pad. Not a fan of Ultramarines, but this is a good 'un.

Knowing how hard I personally find it to convert and work with greenstuff I think this piece is very well done. Great job, and would love to see it painted.

Very cool, i love the shoulder guards, and the knee pads with eagles, and the shield and the helm :) i love the overall look :D
