Old Legolas Miniature (Repainted)
So that's what he looked like under all that paint :) A stripped and repainted Legolas from the mid eighties, the original paint job can be seen here : http://www.coolminiornot.com/30550 . Look at him, he's got eyes and ears and a mouth! It's amazing the amount of detail that 30 or 40 layers of paint can hide :) Regretfully the green stripes on the horse's bum had to go, but I think it looks much happier in its new colours and it at least it doesn't have wild, staring eyes anymore. Despite my best efforts with thinners and Nitromors, a lot of the detail has been obliterated through years of painting and gaming, still a nice wee miniature from the olden days though. He appears to have a mullet though, must've been all the rage in the eighties. Cheers - Rab.
