Typhus, Herald of Nurgle
I had a blast painting this fig and that made me want to really pull out all the stops for the technique and the photography. I used the 'Eavy Metal Masterclass article that was printed in White Dwarf some time ago as a jumping off point. It was a big help to not have to sit there and think "what color should I use to basecoat the scythe handle with...". The only disadvantage to using that particular guide is that it predated the release of the new GW paint colors so there's a step in painting the bandages on the scythe that calls for some horrendous mix of 5 or so colors in various percentages that nets...Graveyard Earth. Comments are welcome as always.
