Read some of the articles on how to take good pictures on this site, no good having a nice mini if the photos are bad. First step is to get a large sheet of white card and bend it up against something so there is a perfect background, the bend means no nasty horizontal lines in the photo. Then light the mini as much as possible from above and either side to eliminate shadows. Use a tripod if you have one and the timer function on the camera so you don't wobble the camera when taking the shot. Finish off the lighting in Photoshop / etc if necessary.
