My First Hasslefree mini. I painted him to use as my Ogre character for Warhammer Quest. I used a mix of Vallejo and Citadel paints. The Shield he carries was scratchbuilt from plasticard and greenstuff (my first attempt at a proper sculpt). The base is Dungeon floor style with some gold coins scattered here and there (Ogres tend to forget to pick up coinage after a kill :( ) . This is my first mini for quite some time ,but i think it turned out pretty good :) it helps that it's a really kool mini to begin with. Any questions or comments feel free to let me know . Wow! Its amazing how much better your work has become over the last 12 months. I was going to give this a solid 8...but when I realised you had also created the shield ...that and the base work pushed it up to a 9 for me....WELL DONE! An interesting figure in good dynamic pose...you have done it justice with a great paintjob. The little details on the armour are splendid ..and I like the fact that you have obviously spent some time considering the variated colour scheme...its come out really well. The blood spray on the axe is a nice touch...and you have done a great job on the shield...although the edging around the black segments doesn't quite tie in with the rest of the model. He is quite the cleanest ogre I have ever seen....where is the lacky who polishes his armour?! -----OVERALL-----FANTASTIC WORK------BRAVO!!! Thanks for sharing it with us all!
