grassy gnoll reborn

Finally finished the removal of the grass (I DO NOT recommend doing that to a mini you plan on repainting - the damn grass kept popping up like weeds). Since the Reaper gnoll has lots of skin, I decided there had to be a reason and that reason was tattoos. One tattoo that didn't make the final cut was the "MOM" on the right bicep (the "O" was a heart - even gnolls have mommies). The cattail effect was achieved using an acrylic gel. I use Liquitex acrylics mostly because that's what I learned to paint with and once I started down that road, it was too hard to switch.

The Gnoll looks really cool..and nice job on the base. The tattoos were a cool idea, adds to the mini. Keep up the great work.

looks nice, probably a little pale from my minds eye of what a gnoll would look like, but each to their own. one suggestion would be do a little more work on the sword blade. ink it then dry brush it maybe, it would remove the 'flat' appearance of it. if that were done i'd give it a seven :)

Liked the grassy knoll (being from Texas I appreciated the Joke) - but I like the way he turned out
