Your photo is a little grainy and a little out of focus but you seem to have done a relatively clean job, I just have a bit of advice...a good snow effect is to cover your base with a generous amount of elmers glue and then pile baking soda on it to dry for at least a few hours then blow it off and use a paint brush to dust off the stobourn excess a lot of it will stick and wont be rubbed off leaving you with a believable snow effect.
