Sorceress on Steed

my lastest work. ;o) i merely paint for fun n enjoyment, i don't wargame. result: don't really hang around much at the local GW, thus hard to improve my skills since not much advice. will really be appreciated if u gals/guys can give your advices n comments. Thanx a lot! Cheers.

every mini of yours is better then the previous! i hope to be remembered as part of your improvements ;) anyway, for this mini i can suggest you to get rid of that mould line on the vest with a sharp modelling knife and maybe to use a darker shade on the horse to increase contrast. otherwise, it's a good mini but the pic doesn't show it too well... try to avoid the use of flash and ill get it! cheers Luca

There is alot of good stuff here in this mini (such as the blending and the vividness of the colors) but I think with so many 'competing colors' the mini loses some focus. I'd suggest 'limiting the palatte' to just a couple of colors...The base is very cool, but the 'lichen' looks 'fake' compared to the rest. Other good things are the dynamic pose and the sense of action you have going. The expression on her face makes her look especially intense. Good work.
