Picard the Templar

After finishing the face, I realized that this mini looks just like Jean Luc Picard from Star-Trek, so I painted his name on his shield like he is on the holo deck. *Note* I am not a 'Trekie', but I did have to suffer through many episodes as a kid, and thought this would make a good birthday present for my dad.

Queen of Credits

Speaking as both 'trekkie' and mini-lover, this is a charming and well-executed nod o' the cap to the cult tv series. Just wonderful. Some "enterprising" sculpting company or artist should create an entire series of the 2nd generation star trek characters in a miscellany of holodeck costumes and garb. There have other trek minis, as we know, but there is only so much one can do with a space fleet uniform. Well done, Amy. 'Make it so.'
