I agree with the white, espetially some shading/outlining between hand and shiled would bring it up, and also blond elf probably would look much better with blond or none eyebrows...
The sword looks good, and the freehand on the cloak turned out pretty well. I think you are painting with globby paints though, it looks a little thick in places (esp. the white). I think the white parts bring this mini down, they are too flat.
