Rust Monster

This is the second 28mm scale mini ive done, still working on learning to paint and stuff, but im fairly proud of the actual modelling of this one. Crits Please!

I took the photo outside without a flash, so maybe its the sunlight giving it a bit too much of a bright highlight.. if you're talking about the tail, that is mostly painted that way, but not quite so contrasted. And hes standing on a rusty sword similar to the Monster Manual illustration ;) Otherwise, on stone blocks in a dungeon like setting.

The paint job could use some work (it's a seven IMO), but the sculpt is top notch (definitely a nine). Perhaps a better picture would help... it's just hard to see the quality of the painting as is. For example, is it highlighted like that or is that the result of the photography light hitting it? And out of curiousity, what's that he's stepping on? Over all, you should be extremely proud of this piece.

It's a really cool rust monster, what can i say :) I'll give you a 9 since it's somewhat of an exotic mini :) Never seen anyone make a rust monster before, no sir... :D As to what could you improve... I have no idea... :)
