Chain Link Fence Obstacles
This is my first real effort into terrain projects. I recently picked up a copy of the GW book "How to Make Wargames Terrain" and really liked the look of the chain link fence obstacles. They were based on 2 3" and 1 2" wood bases. I found the fencing material at Michaels (I believe it is used for making forms for sculpture and such). The posts are pieces of hollow copper tubing. All together they were fairly quick and easy to put together. I spent maybe 3 hours total on them. The fence is painted in vallejo model color gunmetal grey. It has been washed in places with tamiya clear orange, tamiya clear yellow, thinned down black ink, as well as brown and chestnut inks). They are nice and corroded. I am in the process of putting together a gaming room where I will eventually have a full sized 4' x 8' gaming table and wanted to get my practice in. WIP pictures of the game room can be found on my website. Since my room isn't finished yet I am letting these ones go to find a new home. They would be perfect on a city fight table. Comments are very welcome! Cheers!
