Dark Elf High Sorceress
A retake of the rather uninspiring (IMHO) DE Sorceress on foot model. For all who've asked: The upper torso was taken from the new Morathi model with the legs from the female 40K Dark Eldar Lord. I shaved the spines off her leg to give her a sleeker, more feminine silhouette. i chose a simple uncluttered head (female Dark Elf Beastmaster) as I wanted to emphasize a sense of innate nobility without the need for cluttered headgear, big hair and the like. Her left (heartrender) arm had the lance head removed and replaced with a Mounted Necromancer's globe staff and given a Slaaneshi eye look... Her other (scroll) hand was taken from a confrontation Hunter of Darkness and (carefully) pinned on. The snakes were from the Serpent swarm and ended up looking far more cute than venomous (damn...) It must be said that the model looks slightly better in real life as the subtle contrast between skin tone and hair colour doesn't quite come through in the picture.
