Thrud the Barbarian

This comic book character from my youth brings back memories. For those that don't know his head is supposed to be tiny and his body is supposed to be big. See http://www.thrudthebarbarian.com/ for details. I have incorporated several techniques I found in articles on this site. NMM gold on the helmet and steel/iron on the axe. Also the jewels were painted using a technique I read about here. Hopefully I am slowing improving.

Very good job there! I think the axe is fine, but I think the jewels and axe handle are a little too bright for this guy, but very well executed.

Thanks for the comment. I see what you mean about the axe. I'll try some more white highlights next time.
