Imperial Fists Assault Marine

I wanted some bullet impacts to make the scene more dynamic. I think it turned out OK. I also wanted to avoid transfers, so every emblem is freehand...

I really like it, the base is excellent and the yellow looks good, i dont at all have a problem with the hip, it looks like he's wearing a suit of armor! cc: i would have liked it better if the face was looking where the pistol was, or the pistol wasn't pointing off like he was shooting. the metal skull on his jump pack harness seems to be slapped with boltgun instead of the paintstaking yellows and reds surrounding it, and his feet sort of look like their just brown, maybe more highlights or flecking with a old toothbruth to make it look more like dirt? overall great job, keep it up.

So, another great Fist by Obliterator... what's new about that? :) Seriously, nothing's wrong at all with this guy, congratulations! I'd really, really like to see some other Fists from you soon.

Very, very good overall but there's a couple of *minor* details here that take the score down a wee bit. True, it ain't east painting Imp Fists as yellow is a tricky pigment to get to work well. I love the base and the 'splashing' water effect - very good. I also like the mud effect on his feet. In some places though it looks as if the paint has been applied a little too heavily and the white (or near-white) highlights are a bit too much. I'm not sure if it's just me but his left leg seems to be jutting out a little too much at the top - this gives him quite an uncomfortable pose. Apart from that, great stuff :)
