really nice paint job, great highlights, but i too think that the gems don't really get it... the look like... peaches... the had to be darker and harder highlighted. still, magnificent model. btw, where are the cockpit canopies?
Everything is really well painted except for the gems, which don't really look like what they're supposed to be; gems. The first thing I notice is that they're too brightly highlighted (a too large portion is bright, compared to the dark). The second is that they're not highlighted in accordance to how light hits them. If a gem is lying flat, the top should be dark, and there should be a thin bright line around its base, and so on.
