I'm not really sure which is better, this Shaman, or the Orc Warlord on the boar. Your Orcs are by far the best I've seen. They better get those demons polished and ready for you right now. Waagh!!!
"HUGELY IMPRESSIVE" is not often used when commenting on figures..but the work on this sculpt and painting is just that!------Where to begin?-----the amount of work and level of detail in the sculpting is outstanding and completed with a master's touch. I particularly appreciate the shambling motion and overall feel to the scuplt...but it is the little details that really make this stand out from the crowd. As for the paint work....an excellent choice of palette ...those muted colours create just the right mood for the shaman's sloth-like stagger forwards. The skin work on the face is very well done...cant see if this is mirrored as well on the hands (particularly the left one) ...but great choice of colour ...blends in very well with the rest. Your claw, teeth and horn work is exceptional..and its good to see paintwork on these three clearly treated differently on the model itself. I've never been of fan of oversized weapons...but you've done a fine job on the axe head...the pointed shine on the blade is just GREAT..and the captive tiny bird is a lovely touch of pathos!
The base is a little odd.....is it meant to fit into another, larger one?...but given the overall quality of the whole piece...I think we'll all let you off that ..or anything else...No points deducted at all!
OVERALL!! FANTASTIC WORK!! BRAVO!! Thanks for sharing him with us!!
