First attempt at trying to make my mini's look good. Been painting for a bit but never seriously. This is the first stage at improving my quality and learning how to paint right. Please comment so I can learn to up my painting ability. I have been reading alot lately and I am sure that my next mini will much better. This was painted before I read painting techniques and so on.

Nice, but paint the eye´s black then put the white on put leave a bit of black on the outlines. That makes them look much better

Not bad for a first serious atempt. To improve it give the beard a drybrush of a lighter color, shade the skin a bit ( ink wash). Nice looking metalics.
