The conversion work here is good, it is the colour choice that is letting you down. You have as has already been mentioned used a lot of gold. Gold can look really effective try using a dark metallic base like Tin Bitz, then aplly a layer of Dwarf Bronze and then your gold. Then try a highlight of gold with some silver mixed in on the extreme edges this will give you a slightly tarnished look. You also need to define the separations of different areas a bit better with black lining to realy make the different areas stand out. Don't get me wrong the paint work is good but it could be so much better.

ahh [sigh of relief] thats all i needed-some feeedback. she is intended to be dark, but in reality she's a little lighter. ill keep that in mind about the gold, and i like your idea about a different color of light sourcing. perhaps red... humm, i think blue might make her look to cold. i didnt mean to whine, and id be happy with a 5. im no master painter but i just was hoping for more than a 4 (or at least a comment!). i know it'll even out-i jumped the gun i guess thanks fellas

Hello there. Please don't worry about your score too much, I think your conversion is great, very creative. Personally I think there is too much gold on the mini. Gold looks best when used very sparingly. The green fist draws the eye away from the rest of the miniature too much, although I like the light-sourcing attempt, just try it with a blue or red maybe. The gem looks great, just make the top bit darker and the bottom bit lighter upto white. Don't be put of by the scoring system, as you improve your skills your score will rise (promise!)
