Sgt. Kurt Kwinsky

This mini was alot of fun to paint. A strong sculpt and a clean mold that opens itself to many different ideas. I opted for a basic OD green, since I wanted to be able to use him in a variety of games and units. The paints I use are mainly GW, ral partha and ceramcoat acrylics. I enjoy using these since they blend well with each other, and it gives me a very wide variety of colours and shades. The base is real dirt. I tend to go all weird when I find a pile of dirt to play in....eeer...sift through. The long grass is real horsehair. I have friends who own horses, so every so often I go and trim the mane and tail, bleach the hair then dye it the colour I want. It's cheap, and gives me something unique to add to my minis.
