Posting a pic with the mini in a better position might help, because having to tilte my head to see the mini isn't that great ;) As for the painting it looks nice and neat. Next step would be shading and highlighting, that big blue part seems to be needing it the most. And you might one to try and shade withe with grey in stead of brown, I think it'll look better on the mini.
