Kelt Warrior

This is my first Rackham and I look forward to many more. I am pretty happy with the flesh tones. This is my second go at NMM. I look forward to your comments to continue to help me improve. Thanks

The NMM looks much better from the front but the bottom cutting edge near the tip should be dark and not reflecting I think, also their is little to no shading on the tarbard. I love the base.

I really like the fleshtones you ended up with. They give the mini a very ruddy look, which seems quite appropriate. The 'jewel' in the middle of the shield is quite convincing as well. I think you need more practice with NMM however, as the metal (the sword in particular) seems too flat, and not reflective enough. Keep at it though, as you seem to be on the right track for the NMM, and it's better than my few attempts at the technique have turned out!

Thanks for the thoughts, I really appreciate them. I checked out burberry so I do understand now: ) thanks. Actually he does not have a moustache, now that I look at it it is the highlight is pretty light there. I will be finishing another kelt warrior soon and I will use the suggestions as best I can. Thanks again, Mike
